Do you see something in my library that you’re interested in reading? BookFusion allows you to borrow eBooks from me, just like borrowing books from the library!
BookFusion is a platform that set out to revolutionize how we read and interact with eBooks, audiobooks, and articles. It allows readers and libraries to share digital content through a borrowing feature. I happily pay to support BookFusion, but you shouldn’t need to subscribe to use my library. All you’ll need to do is follow the steps below and borrow away!
The first step is to create an account on BookFusion so you can add me as a friend using the link to my profile below. Once accepted, you should be able to see any books I have listed publicly and my reading progress and stats for those books.
To borrow a book, click on the cover to view the details of the book. You will be able to view all of the metadata I’ve added to the book (synopsis, tags, curated bookshelves, etc). There will be a blue “Borrow” button below the title of the book, and it will change to “Requested” once you click it. Once I approve the request, it will change to “In Bookshelf” when you are able to read it.
Coming Soon (Link Adding In Progress): You can also browse my bookshelf directly! If I’ve added the associated public link, you can click the link to be brought directly to the BookFusion page on my profile!

Once the request is made, I will receive an email notification that your request has been made. Don’t worry about making loads of requests, I have my inbox set up to filter these requests so I can review them all at once! I set the loan duration of the book, up to 30 days. With my subscription, I can share each of my books up to 5 times at once so I doubt there will ever be a reason for me to limit the loan duration.
Once the book is on your bookshelf, you should see a clock icon on the cover in your library. This symbol will tell you how many days are left on your loan. Any highlights and bookmarks will be preserved in your account if you choose to borrow the book again.
That’s it! It’s just like borrowing from a digital library like Libby or Kobo Plus.
Please be patient with me if requests take more than a day to be completed. Likely, I’m away from home or busy with work. I will make every effort to add a status update at the top of this page if a longer absence is expected.
I use BookFusion in other ways too! I thought I would share some key guides for the features I use most. My Notion bookshelf is highly customized to make everything work seamlessly, but it wouldn’t be possible without the tools that BookFusion built.
